A 21-year-old Oklahoma State University student was found dead inside his off-campus residence Monday night, said OSU police.

Andrew Sandlin's roommates reportedly went to check on Sandlin when his cell phone kept ringing and no one answered. Authorities said the roommates found the native-Texan not breathing and immediately called 911. The roommates reportedly told police they had not seen Sandlin since the previous evening.

Emergency officials pronounced the student dead at around 11 p.m. Monday night at Sandlin's residence.

Sandlin's death comes not even a week after another OSU student was pronounced dead inside her freshman dorm room.

Friends discovered 18-year-old Ashleigh Hagerman dead in her Drummond Hall room early Friday morning after they were unable to contact her.

Oklahoma State University officials suspect Hagerman died of natural causes.
