A group of Edmond students are making a difference in the lives of sick children. Students at Edmond North High School raised money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during their "Bring a Light to Others" (BALTO) week.

The funds they raised will grant the wishes of 10 children.

"It's unbelievable that several children have raised just over $6,000 and that alone will raise enough for one child's wish," said Emily Schoffner, a BALTO recipient.

The students raised more than $187,000 altogether.
