Slick road conditions have caused a few car wrecks around the metro Wednesday morning, Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said.

A car on Interstate 44 hit a slick spot in the road near Martin Luther King Blvd. when the driver lost control of the car. The car rolled over, but the driver was not injured, troopers said. He was wearing his seatbelt.

On the same road, another car went off the roadway but was also not injured.

Two more wrecks happened on the Broadway Extension Highway bridge over W. Wilshire Blvd early Wednesday morning.

The first wreck was in the southbound lanes and involved a total of three cars. There was one minor injury, officials said. A second wreck on the same bridge happened in the northbound lanes and involved a truck that hit the barrier wall.

No more information on what caused the wrecks was immediately available.
