Some OU students kept a close eye on voters as they left the polls Tuesday.

The students learned about the election process by conducting exit polls. Exit polls help give an early indication as to how the election will turn out. One student says getting voters to reveal who they voted for is all in the pitch.

"You have to be kind of folksy, come off charming and like you're a nice guy," student Alex Duncan said. "You can talk to me once that works you've kind of got them hooked."

This was only an exercise and the information collected was just for educational purposes.
