Honey Ginger Shrimp

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 pound medium shrimp - peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup of fresh cilantro
- salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat the olive oil and red pepper flakes in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, ginger and honey; cook and stir until fragrant. Add the shrimp, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring as needed, until shrimp are pink and opaque, ad chopped cilantro before serving. Optional brown rice, or whole wheat pasta.
