Super Bowl XLII Prediction

As much as I hate to do it...I gotta pick the Patriots. I just can't logically conceive of a way that this "team for the ages" doesn't close the deal. Give Bill Belichick two weeks to prepare for a team he just saw and that spells trouble for the Giants.

I expect the Giants will put up some points, but ultimately they will make a mistake or two, and New England won't make any. The New York defense turned to butter in the 4th-quarter when they had a chance to snuff out the perfect season in Week 17. Why should we believe it'll be different this time?

The G-Men are good, but the Patriots are epic. I'll be rooting with my whole heart for an upset, but I just don't think it'll happen.
