The students at Edmond North High School have gathered together to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

A dance marathon was the first event in a series of fundraisers. The students get paid to dance, groove or just move.

The students also had a garage sale to raise money by selling donated items. They're planning a carnival, 5K run, and basketball tournament.

Thursday night, there's an auction and a dinner, it starts at 7 p.m. at Edmond North High School.

This series of fundraising events is called BALTO. The acronym stands for "Bring a Light to Others."

The students started the fundraiser 14 years ago, where they made $5,000 for the charity they chose. This year the goal is nearly $125,000.
