Oklahoma bounces back with win over Texas Tech

NORMAN, Okla. -- Amanda Thompson scored 16 points as Number 11 Oklahoma rebounds from a conference loss to Baylor with a 78 to 39 rout of Texas Tech tonight.

OU (12-4, 3-2 Big 12) built a 40 to 18 halftime advantage and led the Lady Raiders (13-6, 1-4) by as many as 40 points.

Courtney Paris had 10 points and 10 rebounds for her 77th straight double-double. The 10 points matched her career low. Jenna Plumley and Danielle Robinson had 12 points each and Ashley Paris added 10.

Maria Moore scored 15 for Texas Tech in the Lady Raiders' worst loss since falling 95 to 54 to Louisiana Tech in 1990. Their point total was the lowest since scoring 37 in a loss to Iowa State in 2000.

OU shot 47% from the field (31 of 66) and outrebounded Texas Tech 51 to 34.
