Oklahoma City firefighters are investigating a suspicious fire on the northeast side of town.

The fire broke out Saturday at vacant home near NE 2 and Indiana Avenue this afternoon. The house was still under construction.

"We had lots of building materials in there, lots of things that they were going to use inside the structure, so it gave a lot more fuel to this structure," said Todd Matthews of the fire department.

Crews were able to save a nearby building that contained more construction materials.
