The first-degree murder trial of an Oklahoma City man accused of killing his father and hiding the body in a freezer is being delayed.

The murder trial of an Oklahoma City man accused of killing his father and hiding his body in a freezer was delayed this week.

Andrew Thompson, 21, is charged with first degree murder in the November 2006 death of Emmanuel Thompson.

The trial was set for February but was delayed being delayed until May. Prosecutors say they need more time after learning a psychologist hired by Thompson's attorney says Andrew Thompson may have battered child syndrome.
