Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry is seeking federal  help for residents whose property was damaged during December's ice storm.

Henry's request includes Oklahoma and Tulsa counties, but officials said more counties will be added if his initial request is approved.

If approved, Oklahomans who have uninsured damage could get assistance for housing or housing repairs and low-interest loans for small businesses.

Currently, local and state governments only receive assistance from the federal government.
