Authorities stopped a high-speed chase on the Kilpatrick turnpike. Troopers said the chase reached speeds of over 130 MPH.

The suspect was driving on the shoulder of the turnpike past troopers near Stroud, that's when police started chasing him.

Police deployed stop-sticks twice, one of them hit one wheel near the Wellston exit. The suspect then drove 20 miles on his rim.

Police used tactical vehicle intervention, meaning they spun his vehicle to stop him.

Police said the suspect could have been under the influence.

The suspect had minor bruises and was checked out.
