A 14-year-old girl joyriding on a rural road overturned her family's pickup truck, ejecting three young passengers, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Chris West.

Kari Hackler of Maud, Okla., was driving a Chevy Avalanche when she lost control on a rural Pottawatomie County road. Hackler was flown to an Oklahoma City hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

DEAD ARE:
Jude Wood, 12, of Seminole.
Christopher Bailey, 8, of Tecumseh.

"The vehicle went to the left came back to the right it looks like she lost control and was trying to regain control of the vehicle but did lose control," West said.

None of the children were wearing seat belts, troopers said.

Bailey's 14-year-old stepsister also was  in the vehicle, but suffered only minor injuries.
