The city of Tulsa experienced a lofty amount of property vandalized this Saturday morning. Nearly 50 vehicles' tires were slashed by the culprits causing an estimated $30,000 in damage.

Tulsa police say it's the worst act of vandalism the department has seen in years.

"Old clunker cars, brand new expensive cars, little cars, big cars, pick-ups, SUVs...no pattern to it that I can see other than pure vandalism for the sake of vandalism," Tulsa Police Dept. Sgt. Bill Goree said.

A security guard spotted a group of young men, suspected to be the vandals, but they managed to get away.
