Vandals slashed the tires of nearly 50 vehicles Saturday morning in Tulsa.

The Vandals caused an estimated $30,000 in damage. Tulsa police said it's the worst act of vandalism the department has seen in years.

"Old clunker cars, brand new expensive cars, little cars, big cars, pickups, SUVs - no pattern to it that I can see other than pure vandalism for the sake of vandalism," Sgt. Bill Goree said.

A security guard spotted the vandals, a group of young men, but they managed to get away.
