The National Weather Service issued a variety of winter weather warnings and advisories Saturday across Oklahoma.

At 4:22 p.m., a crash caused the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 at Anderson Road to be  closed, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The interstate reopened about 5:15 p.m.

Earlier Satruday, one person was killed and more than a dozen others injured in a massive pileup that shut down Interstate 40 in Amarillo for most of the day.
Amarillo police Sgt. Shawn McLeland said between 40 to 80 vehicles, including several tractor-trailer rigs, were involved in Saturday's chain-reaction accident believed to have been caused by blowing snow and zero visibility.
Fourteen people were injured -- some seriously -- in the 9:40 a.m. pileup, the Amarillo Globe-News reported on its Web site. The injured were transported to area hospitals.
The westbound section of the highway was reopened after several hours; while the eastbound lanes remain closed.
