Final night for center to be open

The Cox Convention Center will be closed after tonight.

The disaster recovery center located at NW 3 Street and Virginia remains open.

Those in need can receive food and gas vouchers, electrical repair assistance and transportation aid.

"I was able to get gas vouchers and some readymade food, and I was satisfied with that," center client LJ Jackson said.

If assistance is needed, the center opens at 9:30 and stops taking new clients at 2. A utility bill is required for entry as proof of residence.
