Police identify man recovered from Boomer Lake in Stillwater

A 43-year-old man was recovered from Boomer Lake in Stillwater on Tuesday, authorities say.

Stillwater Police said William Whittington, 43, was found dead at the lake around 9 a.m.

Police responded to the area of North Husband Street to investigate and asked residents to avoid the area.

"This case is open and under investigation. The preliminary investigation does not indicate foul play is involved," Stillwater Police said.
