OKLAHOMA CITY -
The Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Advisory Council has appointed a new executive director.
Melissa Walton was appointed on Thursday and is tasked with reducing incarceration and contributing to public safety by streamlining the county justice system.
Walton will oversee CJAC's strategic initiatives and play a pivotal role in guiding the development of the new Oklahoma County Detention Center.
