Child Hit By Car In SW OKC

A 6-year-old is injured after being hit by a car in southwest Oklahoma City, according to police.

Police say the incident happened near Southwest 17th Street and South Western Avenue.

Authorities say EMSA has transported the victim to a local children's hospital.

Both directions of Western are closed while police investigate.

Police say the driver was arrested for driving without a license.
