Multiple People Detained, Later Released After Suspect Search In SW Oklahoma City

Five people were detained Thursday morning after a suspect search in southwest Oklahoma City according to police.

Investigators said they were searching for a suspect with a felony warrant near Southwest 31st Street and South May Avenue after they fled from officers at around 4 a.m., according to police.

After organizing around a home in the area, OCPD took five people from the home into custody for questioning, although it is unknown if any are the suspect police are searching for. All were later released.

OCPD said K-9 units were searching in the area, and the department also deployed a drone to assist in their search.

It is unknown what type of warrant is connected to the person OCPD said they are searching for.

So far, there have been no official arrests.
