‘He Made Me A Strong Woman’: Mother Of Boy Killed At Choctaw G

The mother of Cordae Carter is speaking out for the first time since her son was killed at the Del City Choctaw game Friday night.

A life cut short following a shooting during the third quarter of the Del City football game against Choctaw Friday night. Cordae was a student at Midwest City High School and attended the game on Friday with his family to support his brother and cousins who are Choctaw football players.

Investigators say the suspects approached Cordae, a fight broke out and then shots were fired. The family says it all happened in front of Cordae’s sister and cousins.
