It will feel like summer this week, getting hotter as we get closer to the weekend. In fact, we will be closer to record highs than average.
Fire danger is also increasing as winds ramp up.
What will the weather be like on Wednesday?
Additional storms will take off out west. These will pose a low severe risk.
The primary concern will be damaging winds and intense lightning. The highest chance of rain tomorrow will be in our western counties.
We climb back into the 90s!
What will the weather be like this week?
A weak stationary front sits across the northwest on Thursday, which could develop a couple of storms. Most of us will just experience another day of late summer heat in the afternoon.
The heat stays with us Friday, and we could even get close to some record highs. Northwest Oklahoma could get lucky with a few isolated showers and storms in the afternoon/evening.
By the end of the week, we get closer to 100s. Our temps will be close to record highs for this time of year.
