Monday morning will be chilly again with a lot of 50s, so expect a very cool morning and a warmer afternoon.
The cool mornings hang around for a few more days and then a warming trend begins. Afternoon highs will return to the upper 80s and 90s lows will climb into the 60s.
The winds will increase some this week and with dry conditions, the fire danger ramps up!
Across Oklahoma, highs in the afternoon will climb into the 80s and lower 90s.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, expect similar highs in the 80s and 90s.
Wednesday and Thursday, rain chances return with slight chances in the south and eastern parts of the state.
The state fair begins this week, and the weather looks amazing! We sure need more rain, but for now it is hard to come back. The pattern becomes much more progressive next week.
We are keeping a close eye on the Gulf of Mexico, where soon-to-be Francine is getting organized. This system could become a Category 1 hurricane over the next couple of days.
The current forecast takes it into western Louisiana with the worst impacts. We may see some rain from the outer bands in Oklahoma, but the highest chances will be in the far southeast.
Next week, storm chances return with several storm systems lined up.
