OSBI Investigating Deadly Police Shooting In Davis

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed it is looking in to a deadly police shooting late Wednesday night.

The shooting happened at a residence near the intersection of Hanover Road and Cherry Road.

According to authorities, a Davis police officer responded to the residence around 10:15 p.m.

An altercation broke out between the officer and the subject. A second police officer later arrived on scene to observe the altercation.

According to the report, the subject gained control of the first officer's weapon. The second officer fired his weapon multiple times at the subject.

The subject, identified as Christopher George, died at the scene.

One officer was treated and released from a nearby hospital.
