Humid Friday Afternoon, Chances For Storms Possible In OKC Metro This Weekend

Your Friday will be hot, humid and sunny with highs in the 90’s. Heat index values will be in the upper 90’s and near 100 degrees.

There will be a slight chance for isolated showers and storms in the southwest portion of the state Friday night. There will be a slight chance for rain in the Oklahoma City metro early Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon highs are expected to climb in the mid-90’s, and it will feel like 100 to 105 degrees. Another slight chance for isolated thunderstorms is possible Saturday afternoon and evening with most locations staying dry.

Rain chances stand at 20 percent on Sunday with highs again in the mid-90’s.

Heat index values will be a factor most of next week and will remain near 100. The final nine days of July look hot!
