Tulsa Police are looking for thieves who have targeted a South Tulsa garden center over several nights.

The latest burglary, Saturday night, resulted in another loss of several thousand dollars in merchandise for the Under the Sun Garden Center at 89th and Sheridan.

The Under the Sun Garden Center has been burglarized multiple times, despite having locked gates, a security system and cameras inside and out.

Store Manager Kimla Hathaway said thieves have taken expensive plants, and products that cost several hundred dollars each, and repairs cost even more.

“You’ve got sheetrock to fix, stuff they’ve taken, stuff in the office, money, a safe – it’s rough” said Hathaway.

She said thieves once took a forklift and rammed it into the building to get inside.

Tulsa Police Lt. Billy White said officers are looking for several men last seen in a red Chevrolet Impala with what appeared to be a black wheel on the passenger side. A tag on the car was traced back to a stolen car.

Tulsa Police ask anyone with information to call the department.
