OSDH Deploys Mobile Wellness Vans Statewide

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has deployed mobile wellness units statewide. OSDH said the vans bring vital health services to underserved communities.

OKCPS Launches Summer Meal Program

Summer break is back, and Oklahoma City Public Schools is picking back up their summer meal service.

This meal service is free for anyone under the age of 18. 

Meals are being served at a number of OKCPS campuses starting Monday through July 23. Parents and students can pick up meals Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

OKCFD Project Life 5K Run

The Oklahoma City Fire Department is holding its 8th annual Project Life 5K on Saturday, Aug. 28.

The race begins and finishes at the east wharf of Lake Hefner. It is a 5K, a 1 mile fun run/walk or a virtual run.

The race costs $35 to enter and registration closes on Aug. 27.

OKC-County Health Department Community Survey

The Oklahoma City-County Health Department is teaming up with other organizations to shape a community health improvement plan.

They are asking residents to complete a brief survey so they can hear their thoughts on what a healthy community should look like.
