Oklahoma will see cloudy skies Thursday with light rain moving in during the evening.
Look for a southeast breeze in the afternoon at 10 to 20 mph.
Thursday night lows will dip into the 40s and 50s. There will be a chance for scattered showers with the best chance in eastern Oklahoma.
Friday Gulf moisture streams back into Oklahoma. A powerful upper-level storm will approach from the west. A surface low will form in western Oklahoma and dryline will develop in the southwest. We will monitor the area ahead of these features very closely.
Storms are expected to fire in the afternoon and evening. These will pose a threat for large hail and damaging winds. There will be a low tornado threat in southern Oklahoma.
Through the evening, a cold front will push to the southeast. Storms are expected to form a squall line along the front and will rush to the southeast.
Trackers will be out, and our team will keep you updated.
