Final approval of a nearly $2 trillion COVID-19 relief package is expected to come Wednesday, with President Joe Biden ready to sign it.

The bill will need the support of almost every Democrat, because it is getting zero support from Republicans.

President Biden said the bill is badly needed, that the nation won’t fully recover without it. Rep. Tom Cole, (R) OK-4, said there may be parts of the bill Republicans support, but it goes too far.

Rep. Markwayne Mullin, (R) OK-2, said this bill is anything but targeted.

"I mean, it's nothing but a bailout for blue states, it's nothing but a bailout for local governments that mismanaged the COVID," Mullin said.

Mullin said there's lots of red flags, including the $1,400 stimulus checks.

"We just sent out a round of checks and we need to redo it again? I didn't know there was this huge outcry for these checks to be sent out," Mullin said.

Several polls have shows strong public support from both Democrats and Republicans for the relief package, including the stimulus checks.
