Two people are dead after a collision late Saturday night in Logan County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Guthrie Fire Department responded to an accident involving a commercial vehicle and a semi truck around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The collision occurred at the intersection of State Highway 33 and South Broadway.

According to OHP, a vehicle turning off South Broadway onto State Highway 33 failed to yield at a stop sign, hit a semi and became stuck under its trailer. The driver of the semi stopped the truck and called 911.

When authorities arrived on the scene, the occupants of the commercial vehicle were pronounced dead.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the collision.
