Tulsa County Deputies Arrest Suspect In Chandler Park Death

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said they have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a woman found in Chandler Park last weekend.

Deputies said they arrested Nicholas McCarty on Wednesday.

Deputies said McCarty told them he and another person dumped 54-year-old Keli Gilbert's body after putting her in the trunk of McCarty's car, driving to the part, stripping her of her clothing and then pushing her down a hill.

The report said McCarty said he received $20 in gas money for his help.

They said McCarty is booked into jail for first-degree murder.

Records show McCarty was sentenced to 20 years in prison for a home invasion in 2015, but was released after three and a half.
