Tinker Air Force Base To Allow Longer Hair Styles For Women

Tinker Air Force Base has announced that female Airmen will soon be allowed to wear longer hairstyles.

Beginning in February of 2021, women will be allowed to wear their hair up in braids, ponytails, and they can have their bangs out.

Officials said the bulk of their ponytail will not be allowed to exceed the width of the head and length can not extend below a horizontal line running between the top of each sleeve inseam through the shoulder blades.
