Mom’s Chex Mix
- 4 cups Corn Chex
- 2 cups Wheat Chex
- 2 cups square oat cereal
- 1 bag Parmesan Goldfish
- 2 cups Butter flavored pretzel sticks
- 4 cups mixed nuts
Seasoning Butter:
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ½ teaspoon rosemary
- 1 ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Tabasco (add as desired)
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine all of the crackers, cereal and nuts in a large bowl.
- In a medium sized sauce pan, combine the butter and seasonings over medium heat till the butter is melted.
- Pour the butter mixture over the crackers and toss together to coat with the seasonings.
- Spoon the cracker mixture onto the baking sheets and bake for one hour.
- Every 20 minutes use a spatula to turn over the cereal mixture to ensure even toasting of the Chex Mix.
- Once the mix is done baking allow it to cool thoroughly before storing in an airtight container.
