Mom’s Chex Mix

  1. 4 cups Corn Chex
  2. 2 cups Wheat Chex
  3. 2 cups square oat cereal
  4. 1 bag Parmesan Goldfish
  5. 2 cups Butter flavored pretzel sticks
  6. 4 cups mixed nuts

Seasoning Butter:

  1. 2 sticks unsalted butter
  2. 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  3. ½ teaspoon thyme
  4. ½ teaspoon rosemary
  5. 1 ½ teaspoon onion powder
  6. 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  7. Tabasco (add as desired)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Combine all of the crackers, cereal and nuts in a large bowl.
  4. In a medium sized sauce pan, combine the butter and seasonings over medium heat till the butter is melted.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the crackers and toss together to coat with the seasonings.
  6. Spoon the cracker mixture onto the baking sheets and bake for one hour.
  7. Every 20 minutes use a spatula to turn over the cereal mixture to ensure even toasting of the Chex Mix.
  8. Once the mix is done baking allow it to cool thoroughly before storing in an airtight container.
