The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed to News 9 that the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine will arrive in the state in less than two weeks.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health confirmed to News 9 that the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine will arrive in the state in less than two weeks.

The Pfizer vaccine is expected to arrive in Oklahoma December 10-14, followed by the vaccine from Moderna which will be available around December 22, according to a department spokesperson.

The health department said Oklahoma will receive 30,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 10,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine.

The vaccine will be delivered to frontline workers first, according to the state’s plan.
