HHS Brings Free COVID-19 Testing To Oklahoma

The State Health Department and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will bring free COVID-19 testing to multiple counties across the state, from November 28th to December 19.

The departments said this surge testing is for Oklahomans ages 5 and older. Children under 18-years-old must have a parent or legal guardian with them.

The nasal-swab testing is done by a drive thru and by an appointment-only basis.

The departments said an ID is not required and the patient should receive their results back through an email within three to five days.  

The state health department said this partnership with eTrueNorth will also increase federal support in communities seeing a major spike in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.
