Silver Alert Issued For Fairview Man

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Fairview man on Friday, the Major County sheriff's office said.

John Edwards, 79, was last seen about 9 a.m. Friday in the 243000 block of East County Road 48 in Fairview.

Edwards was last seen wearing blue overalls and a long-sleeved blue plaid pearl snap shirt.

Edwards has a burnt orange Ford pickup with a flat bed, hay arms and cake feeder on the back. The car is a 2000 TK pickup with Oklahoma license plate EHF403.

Edwards has a dog with him, a black Labrador female named Peaches.

Law officers said Edwards has dementia and recently had a stroke.

Anyone with information about Edwards' whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Major County sheriff's office at 580-227-4471.
