The City of Tulsa, alongside local partners, will now provide internet to qualifying families through the CARES Act.

Local families will have the chance to get subsidized internet services as part of the Internet Access Plan. The plan is to be funded by the city's allocation of state Cares Act funding.

The partnership with Cox Communications, Tulsa Responds and Impact Tulsa will help families without internet who have school-age children who are currently enrolled in distance learning.

The goal is to provide internet access for up to 23,000 low-income families.
