Mushroom Gravy

  1. 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  2. 1/2 onion, diced
  3. 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  4. 2 cups water
  5. 1 teaspoon Better Than Bouillon Organic, beef flavor
  6. 1 teaspoon cornstarch


  1. In a medium-size skillet, sauté the mushrooms, onion and thyme in 1 tablespoon of olive oil until onion is translucent.  
  2. Use a small bowl to mix 1/2 cup of water with the corn starch until there are no lumps and set aside.
  3. Stir in the bullion base to the mushroom and onion mixture along with one and a half cups of water.
  4. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil.
  5. Continue stirring until thickened.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve over your favorite mashed potatoes or meat!
