If you watched Tuesday night's presidential debate, you probably won't soon forget it.

At times chaotic, filled with interruptions, personal attacks, and just very unlike debates of the past.

News 9/News On 6's Alex Cameron is in our Washington bureau with reaction for Oklahoma's Congressional delegation.

“Last night’s debate showed the American people that we have some work to do to get back to having civilized discussions surrounding our beliefs, values, and differing policies. Presidential debates should be about how to move our country further- not hurling insults.”

-Rep. Frank Lucas, (R) OK – 3rd District

“The first 2020 presidential debate between President Trump and former Vice President Biden was certainly lively. As expected, it also illustrated their sharp disagreement on policy.”

-Rep. Tom Cole, (R) OK – 4th District

“While no one really won the debate last night, President Trump showed how the American people have a choice in the election between his policies that have proven successful and Joe Biden, who would shut down the economy and pack the court with liberal judges.”

              -Sen. Jim Inhofe, (R) Oklahoma

“What the American people saw last night didn’t serve anyone. We need our leaders to come together and focus on ideas to protect health care access, defeat this pandemic, and jump start the economy. Partisan shouting matches get us nowhere. In Congress, I’m keeping my focus on finding a bipartisan path forward to deliver help for Oklahomans during this crisis.”

-Rep. Kendra Horn, (D) OK – 5th District

“Last night, we saw Joe Biden attempt to spin his poor record from 47 years in Washington, DC. He would not stand up for our brave law enforcement officers or law and order and refused to say he would not defund the police. He also refused to say if he would pack the Supreme Court if he was elected and he was trying to run from the radical Left's socialist agenda. How are the American people supposed to know where he stands when his political positions are always changing?”

-Rep. Markwayne Mullin, (R) OK – 2nd District
