A Facebook transaction turned deadly in a neighborhood near Interstate 44 and Southwest 59th Street.

Oklahoma City police tracked the suspect to another state.

They said he stole the victim's car after killing him.

Surveillance video was captured of the moments leading up to the shooting.

According to court documents, just 24 hours after Jonathan Rubio was killed his car and his accused killer were found in Mississippi.

“It's just shocking that it's so close to my house,” said witness Justin Rupe.

Rubio’s 2003 Mercedes is seen driving past a camera, then pulling into a driveway.

Oklahoma City police said his passenger, who they identified as 19-year-old Treshaun Morgan, steps out of the car.

Just as Rubio opens the hood of his car to show Morgan the engine the camera freezes.

“Like bam, bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!” said Rupe.

Justin Rupe was inside his home when he heard the shots.

“About ten gunshots, pretty fast,” said Rupe.

He ran to check it out.

“It sounded like it was on my front porch. It was loud,” said Rupe.

Rupe said he saw the silver car disappear.

“I saw a guy get into a car and they just drove off like nothing,” said Rupe.

Rupe later learned a man was dead.

“We waived the cop down when he was coming down the street with the spotlight on,” said Rupe.

According to a warrant, Morgan was later stopped in Mississippi driving the stolen car and arrested.

And while court documents show Morgan admitted plotting the robbery, he claimed the triggerman was a friend. A story police aren't buying.

A filing shows he told investigators after several failed Facebook Marketplace meet ups, Rubio agreed to meet him to sell a car.

Investigators said Morgan claims his friend hid in the bushes then jumped out and shot Rubio to death.

According to police, Morgan and the victim are the only two people seen in the surveillance video.
