Putnam City Schools announced they will transition from distance learning to in-person learning that will begin Monday, October 26.

The district said the transition plan will require masks and feature an A/B schedule where 50% of students will be on campus two days a week.

In a statement following the Board of Education meeting, the district said "this plan is the safest way for our students to transition back to the classroom while also contributing to the social, emotional and mental wellbeing of our students."

The district said they are still working to assign students to their schedules and they will continue to monitor the COVID-19 levels in Oklahoma County.
