Veteran Salute: Ernie Turnham

We're recognizing the men and women who have served our country.

On Sept. 21, we want to salute Army veteran Ernie Turnham.

Ernie joined the Army in 1964 and retired as a sergeant in 1969.

After leaving the military, he drove semi-trucks until his official retirement in 2007.

His nominator said he's enjoying his time at home and always has a warm smile and invitation for everyone he meets.

Thank you for your service, Ernie.
