Employee Shoots Suspect In Norman Pharmacy Robbery, Police Say

A suspect was shot Wednesday during a robbery in Norman, police said.

The robbery happened about 4:20 p.m. at Sooner Pharmacy, 1811 W Lindsey Street.

Police said a suspect entered and tried to rob the business when an armed employee shot the suspect.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.

Police said no employees were injured during the incident.

Police are investigating the incident.
