Chocolate Bacon on a Stick

  1. 6-10 slices extra thick cut bacon
  2. 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  3. 3 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  4. Wooden skewers
  5. 2 cups chocolate chips, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire baking rack over the top.
  3. Put the bacon onto the skewers by sewing through the center.
  4. Set the bacon with sticks on the wire rack.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the syrup and sweet chili sauce.
  6. Brush both sides of the bacon with the chili sauce.
  7. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until browned.
  8. Remove from he oven and cool.
  9. Melt the chocolate chips in a mason jar 30 seconds at a time in a microwave.
  10. Add 1 teaspoon coconut oil if the chocolate is too thick and stir.
  11. Dip the cooled bacon into the chocolate and set on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  12. Set in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to set.
  13. Serve!
