Trinity Baptist Church '"Homework Place"

An Oklahoma City church plans to operate as a learning center to help elementary students working on digital homework this fall. 

Trinity Baptist Church will open “The Homework Place” every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting September 2.

The Oklahoma Caring Vans will begin its immunization clinics for the first time since March, starting Tuesday.

Moore Public School Meeting

The Moore Public School board will meet Monday to discuss possible changes to the school year.

Some of the changes being discussed include the attendance policies and possible upgrades to improve the air quality in the schools.

The district is also giving all middle and high school students a device to access online learning lessons.

Clear Springs Church Big Give Giveaway

Mustang's Clear Springs Church is holding a drive-thru to help families get free backpacks and school supplies.

The events are scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, and Aug. 19 at 921 N Clear Springs Road in Mustang.

Registration is required as supplies are limited.
