MUSKOGEE, Okla. -

Muskogee Police arrested 4 people after a brief pursuit where police said the driver hopped out of the car and locked himself in a home.

Police said they attempted to pull over Gerald Maxwell earlier on Monday, because he was wanted on a warrant for shooting with intent to kill.

They said he fled from police for a short time before parking and running into a nearby house. That's when police said Aspen Cottrell got in the driver's seat and tried to keep driving.

Police said they boxed the car in and arrested Cottrell, along with Jaiden Johnson and and a male juvenile.

Officers said Maxwell came out of the house after about 30 minutes and was arrested.

Police said this happened around 2 p.m. Monday. All 4 were arrested and booked into jail and the juvenile was transported to juvenile facility.
