Sen. Jim Inhofe won handily Tuesday night in his primary against three challengers, earning more than 72 percent of the vote.

The Republican from Tulsa will move on to face Democrat newcomer Abby Broyles in November for the right to return to the U.S. Senate, a place he's called home since 1994. Broyles won handily Tuesday night as well, besting Elysabeth Britt, Sheila Bilyeu and Ro Cassity with more than 60 percent of the vote.

Broyles, an attorney, is from Bethany and has spent the majority of her career as a TV journalist.
