Police Identify Woman Killed, Suspect Accused Of Barricading Himself In NW OKC Home

Officers found a woman killed when a man barricaded himself inside a northwest Oklahoma City home.

The incident happened shortly before 3 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of NW 11th Street.

Officers were called to the home in reference to a shooting. When officers arrived, they saw a woman dead inside the residence.

The man barricaded himself inside the home which led to a lengthy standoff with police which ended peacefully.

The woman was identified as 61-year-old Rose Duncan.

Her brother, 64-year-old Robert Churillo, was arrested on several complaints including murder.

Investigators think Duncan and Churillo were arguing when Duncan was shot.

Churillo was booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
