Police arrested a suspect in connection to an east Tulsa home invasion Sunday night.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Joseph Warrior Tuesday morning.

Police said Warrior and 20-year-old Anthony Crump forced their way into a home on 120th East Avenue near Garnett Sunday at about 9:30 p.m.

Police said the pair confronted the homeowner who told them she had a gun. Warrior and Crump continued to approach her and she shot Crump in the chest, according to police.

Both Warrior and Crump left in a white four-door car, police said. That vehicle was later seen dropping Crump off at a Tulsa hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Police booked Warrior into jail on complaints of first- and second-degree burglary and possession of stolen property. Jail records show he has a court appearance set for June 1.
